Michael McGuire has participated in all aspects of insurance coverage, insurance law, and general defense civil litigation, and has represented such clients as General Motors, Chrysler Corporation, 21st Century Insurance Company, State Farm Insurance Companies, Mercury Insurance Company, and FHP Healthcare.

He has handled over 200 arbitrations and over 1,500 percipient/expert depositions. Mike has participated as lead counsel in both Superior and Municipal Court trials. He has extensive experience in the areas of insurance “bad faith” litigation, Business and Professions Code Section 17200 claims, and third-party excess exposure cases.

He is admitted to the California State Bar and the U.S. District Court, Central District. He is also a member of the Southern California Defense Counsel and the Orange County Bar Association.

Mike regularly speaks and conducts seminars on a variety of topics, including the Anatomy of a Lawsuit, Bad Faith Deposition Preparation, and Third Party Excess Exposure claims.
